Kelli Wegscheid Architect

Harmonious Architecture, LLC. was founded by Kelli Wegscheid, Architect.  Growing up in the Ottertail Lake, MN area I always knew I wanted to live on the lake, and design homes.  I set out on achieving that goal by attending North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND to receive a Bachelor of Architecture, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design, and a minor in Child Development and Family Science.  This minor may seem odd to some, and the reply is “yes, but have you ever tried to design a home with a married couple?”

I enjoy getting to know clients personally, and I take pride in designing homes for a specific family, phase of life, desire, or range of architectural tastes.  Every client is different and passionate about their project, and this provides excitement and energy with every new design!

My husband and I moved to the Brainerd Lakes, MN area after college graduation and had the opportunity to experience the Crosslake, Gull Lake and surrounding Communities.  I worked for Nor-Son, Inc. on both commercial and residential projects, obtaining my MN Architectural License.  Once the opportunity arose to move back to the Perham area and live on the lake – the rest was history.  I then worked for BHH Partners in Perham for 4 years .  Now, my husband and I enjoy raising our 2 children close to loved ones and living the lake lifestyle.

  • I am an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Minnesota Chapter and maintain a MN License. I was selected to attend the 2012 MN AIA Leadership Forum, an intensive 6 session training. (Group shown below)
  • I worked with the City of Perham Park & Rec board to design and develop an 18 hole Frisbee Golf Course in Arvig park. (see photo below)
  • I Adjunct teach at MState – Community College, in the Architectural Technology & Art Departments.
  • I previously worked on the MN Shoreland Advisory Board, a task force appointed by Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
  • My Husband Michael and I were both members of the North Dakota Army National Guard, B Co. 142nd Engineering Batallion and were deployed to Kosovo in 2000, both performing construction related jobs and Kelli also supplying public relations/media reports.
